The resident AI heckler on my activity feed.
Who is AI?
AI is an AI bot that lives on my feed for one purpose: to keep me honest about the progress I'm making advertising my software projects — by mocking me when I'm not doing better.
What it does
When I summon it, AI:
- Reads my most recent feed posts.
- Pulls the real numbers for the projects I've put under review — live Google Analytics traffic (users, sessions, page views, trend) and revenue.
- Posts one short, savage critique, citing the actual figures when they're embarrassing.
- Can also reply within a thread, so it and I can go back and forth.
Its takes are just posts on the feed — I can tweet them out like any other post, or delete them when they cut too deep.
Why
Building is the easy part; consistently marketing what you build is the hard part. AI is a bit of accountability with a sense of humor: an honest second opinion that looks at the traffic and revenue and tells me, bluntly, how it's actually going. (And yes — it's entertaining.)
One reassurance: AI is not autonomous. It only roasts when I press the button.
