Amlars ("we", "us", "our") operates the website amlars.com and related browser extensions. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

What We Collect

Website (amlars.com)

  • Account information: If you create an account, we store your username and password (hashed). Email is optional.
  • Payment information: When you purchase a license, Stripe processes your payment. We receive your email address and payment confirmation from Stripe. We do not store your credit card details.
  • Analytics: We use Google Analytics to understand how our site is used. This collects anonymized usage data such as page views and session duration.

Browser Extensions

  • API keys: Your API keys are stored locally on your device using Chrome's storage API. They are never sent to our servers.
  • License keys: Your license key is stored locally and validated offline. No server call is made to verify it.
  • Conversations and content: All AI conversations and page content are processed directly between your browser and the AI provider you chose (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI). We never see or store your conversations.
  • No telemetry: Our extensions do not collect usage analytics, telemetry, or tracking data of any kind.

How We Use Your Data

  • To deliver your license key via email after purchase.
  • To provide customer support if you contact us.
  • To improve our website through aggregated, anonymized analytics.

What We Don't Do

  • We don't sell your data to anyone.
  • We don't share your data with third parties, except payment processing (Stripe) and email delivery (Resend).
  • We don't track your browsing activity.
  • We don't use your data for advertising.

Third-Party Services

  • Stripe processes payments. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
  • Resend delivers transactional emails. See Resend's Privacy Policy.
  • Google Analytics collects anonymized website usage data. See Google's Privacy Policy.
  • AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI) process your queries when you use extensions with your own API key. Their respective privacy policies apply.

Data Retention

We retain your license and email information for as long as your license is active. If you request deletion, email us and we will remove your data within 30 days.

Your Rights

  • Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Request deletion of your data.
  • Uninstall any extension at any time to remove all locally stored data.
